for school we our doing a car wash / dog wash for a project(its for animal cruelty) But we need more ideas to add to it.

I am going to have people donate things but what else? We are going to give money that gets donated to the animal shelter.

Maybe have the dogs inside the shelter their with cute bandannas so people can see them and maybe adopt them?
I had great ideas yesterday but am looking for more just in case my teacher wants us to add more.

Answer
The cute bandannas are a great idea! While @ our shelter recently, I did notice some with bandannas on. Towels or small blankets for the animals to lie on would be nice. Most of the time they are lying on the bare concrete.

Also people could donate $ for the animals to be showcased with their picture in the local newsaper or on the local news. Our shelter does that & it really helps get people to adopt them. Also concentrate on the older and/or not as attractive and "cute" dogs because they may have a harder time finding a home.

Our shelter has some really cute t-shirts (for humans) for sale that promote spaying & neutering.

How can I make money as a 15 year old?

Jack

Hey, I need to start making money because I dont like constantly asking for money off my parents.
I do NOT particularly go round asking people for jobs such as car washing, has anyone got any ideas? I also had a paper round, but the only news agent near me ripped me off. So are there any jobs I could get? I dont want to be working for peanuts either, reading back I sound picky, but if there are any jobs I could do I would appreciate it, Thanks alot! Jack x

We are New Yorkers but have lived for overseas for various years, due to my husband´s job. He is the hospitality industry and just got offered a job at a great property in Downtown Boston. However, I am hearing many negative information on Boston and how dangerous it is. We have a 2.5 yr old toddler and I want to make sure we are in a safe place. A lot of the information that I have found is from some years ago and would like more of an up to date info it at all possible.

We do not have a car but might acquire one down the line, so being close to shops, supermarkets, and mass transit is a plus for us.

Thanks in advance!

Answer
Boston is mostly safe
Jjust avoid: Mattapan, Dorchester and Roxbury

Advice on things to do in Jamaica Rental Car, Motor Sports Etc?

tyrone m

I am going to jamaica and would like to have some suggestions on things to do and not to do in Jamaica. Our honeymoon will be at the Grand Palladium and we were wondering about things to do in Jamaica were staying in Montego Bay but are planning to rent a car to travel around the island. Whats fun? Do you reccomend a rental car? etc any other important info thanks.

Answer
First off Tyrone congratulations .The grand Palladium is not in Montego Bay but actually in Lucea (about 30mins. from MB)On the good side of that its also only 30mins. from Negril .I highly recommend you take a day trip there and finish it off with taking in the sunset at Rick's.I don't recommend you rent a car, taxi service is available at the resort and very safe ,affordable($15.00) and maneuvering some of the Jamaican roads takes much skill(and I'm a New Yorker) Look at the daily trip specials offered at the resort (the one s near the pool area not the boards at the reception area.Take a look at visitjamaica.com its the island official tourist site to look at all they have to offer and make plans from there. But you've made a great choice in booking GP went for the 1st time Jan.2009 and loved it
