car info by vin number image

Hi, when I went to do my motorcycle insurance, I found out there's 2 accident (minor accident) reported under my license which I never had. The 2 car was involved in the accident, VIN number, make, and model on the report, I never owned in my life. Now my insurance sky high because of that. Please help me with any info where/what can i go or do to take it off my record. Thank you in advance.
Answer
ask your insurer if they can give you the name of the insurer who dealt with that claim and contact them directly to find out the details of that acc/clm. They will be restricted to the information they give but it should help you out. The VIN number they gave you maybe relating to the other parties details?????
If you suspect fraud you should report this ASAP.
Good luck with that one.

I need to know if there is somewhere I can go to get a free history report on a car I am possibly going to buy. I have the vin number and when I try to put it in to what they say is free then they try to charge to actually get the report. If anyone can help me with this info please please please it would greatly be appreciated and ten points if you are in to that.
Answer
If you are buying this car from a dealer then they can provide a carfax report for you, if it is from a private seller then you'll have to pay for it.
