Obama is going to raise the fuel economy standards for 2011 model year cars and trucks, just one more thing the auto companies have to worry about.
Why doesent the government at least wait till they get back on their feet.

It will be a model with the appropriate, or inappropriate depending on your point of view, agencies / bureaucracies, that will be in place for the future nationalizations of companies that make more money than the he or the government is comfortable allowing.
This method will by-pass congressional approval with so many different pieces of legislation that no congress, committee or parliamentary body could eliminate it in one vote.
Companies will only be allowed to make as much money as they can to meet the criteria of some employee collective bargaining agreement, pay the managers an agreed upon salary with NO bonuses for performance, pay the taxes and provide an account for marginal, scheduled expansion.
If by some miracle the company makes more money than that, the government will take it over declaring it an economic risk and run it into the ground so that another company fills the void.
Then the cycle will repeat itself.

"Photojournalism" is a term coined by Americans where two separate occupations have been joined together -- journalism and news photography.
In many countries, and Australia is one, it is not allowed for a person to work in such a combined manner. One is either a photographer of a journalist. (It is a union "separation of labour")
Domestically, one shoots within ones' own country, most likely shooting fires, fatal car accidents, hold-ups and other domestic stories while an international photojournalist would be classified as a "foreign correspondent" and working in a foreign country covering international stories including wars.
