What kind of car should I get?

fr33sh95

Im turning 16 and the maximum I can spend is $20,000. I like suvs or sporty looking sedans. I really like the 2010 4runner but I think that's too expensive and too many people drive the model before that.
I don't care at all if its an old model and used

Answer
Your probably going to prefer a New car rather then a Used car for $20,000 but if you are in the market for a Used car aswell you could always try searching for a 2006-2007 Infiniti FX35 crossover, its fast, sporty, luxurious and more affordable to maintain compared to a BMW or a Mercedes. And If your in the market for a new car then I would suggest the NEW 2011 Kia Sportage. Now Im usually not a big fan of Kia at all but thier new Sportage SUV has diffently caught my attention. One of Audi's Cheif Designers helped design the 2011 Kia Sportage which is why the SUV may resemble a little to the Audi line up, this is why the Kia sportage recieves familar styling Q's such as LED Day time running light like the ones found in an Audi, LED tail lights that embed them selves into the rear just the way the A4 is designed. The Kia Sportage is diffently a good looking car to me, It comes with features/options like a Panoramic sunroof, LED Head & Tail lights, Hands free Bluetooth and the best thing of all is that the car starts at $18,295 brand spanking new. Its not the most amazing affordable SUV out there but its deffintley one that is worth taking a look at. Here are some pictures the 2011 Kia Sportage.

EDIT: Now If your looking for a luxury sport SUV then your obviously going to have to buy a used car becuase most luxury sport SUVs start at $35,000 and exceed $75,000. Although I would not recomend a luxury car to a 16 year old I cant forbid them either, some used Luxury sport SUVs under $20,000 are a 2005-2006 BMW X3, 2004-2005 BMW X5, 2005-2006 Infiniti FX35. If your interested in a sedan you can easily get a used 2006 BMW 325i or a 2007 BMW 328i for under $20,000, you can also search for some 2006 Lexus IS250 sedans or a 2007 Infiniti G35 sedan.

Edit: And to the guy who thumbed me down below cause I know it was him, dont listen to a word he says. Japenese cars are the most successful auto manufacturers, if anything dont buy American. No one buys American cars anymore, I mean there is a reason why Hummer, Mercury, Pontiac and Saturn are all being discontinued by the year 2011.

i need help on what car should i pick?

Matthew

ok i want all u peps seeing this pick any car you would recommened from $0 to $80,000

Answer
With a budget like yours, your selection of cars are almost endless. In today's market, many Auto Companies are offering cars with exceptional performance and luxury for around your budget. The first logical choice would be German cars, but contrary to popular belief, Japanese automakers are offering many cars that can surpass many of those German cars. Porsche would be the first car you should be looking at. These cars are just magnificent and surprisingly reliable. Porsche basically wrote the book on How To Build a Sport Car and other automakers still try to surpass them and every time, fail. Here are some cars that you might find of interest:

Hey, I'm a 25 year old college graduate (Spring 2011) and I work as a molecular biology lab tech with a salary of 30,000. I have 80,000 in student loans (18,000 private loans & no credit card debt) and I'm in need of a car. Right now I have 6,000 saved and I was looking at purchasing a new or 2 year old car and I wanted some advise on which car would be a good decision.

Extra: I have been looking at a 2012 dodge challenger sxt, 2010 CPO Lexus IS250 & 2012 Honda Accord Coupe LX. I was leaning towards the Lexus because I would not have for maintenance if any for 3 years and also resale value.

Answer
Ditto the others. Don't take on more debt than you have to, especially if it's unnecessary. You can get a luxury car later. As for other suggestions, finding a well-maintained more modest car will serve you well. The good news is that even in the compact segment, there are a lot of great, reliable (when cared for) cars around, a few of which are also great fun to drive. I personally like the Mazda 3 and older 6, older Honda Civics and Accords, Subaru Imprezza and older Legacy. (I'm like driving so I prefer cars which have good feedback and can be found with manual transmissions, but there are a lot of other choices).

Which car is more reliable for daily usage?

I am planning on purchasing a car for this coming summer. It will be my 2nd car. These are my options....

1) 2007 Nissan 350z
2) 2004 Infiniti G35
3) 2003 Porsche Boxster convertible

My favorite (and the one I am very excited about) is the Porsche.

I want to know which one will be more reliable because I need it to drive to work (45min commute) and to school (1hr commute) I am pretty young also and most people i have asked do not want me to purchase the porsche. I did have to work pretty hard to save up for a nice car so I want to make sure it is reliable :) I am planning on keeping one of these for about 4yrs.

Answer
I would say the Infiniti. But I would also reccomend the G37XS or G37S, as you will get more of the "fun factor" with those. The XS is AWD and GREAT in snow if needed. The reason for my reccomend action is insurance will be a little less pricey, you would be getting a luxury car, and its sporty and very quick.

Would I be made fun of for driving a 2013 Buick Lacrosse?

Mht

I am about to get my license within a matter of months, and I'm looking at cars. I'm really into the 2013 Buick Lacrosse, but my parents keep telling me that it's an old persons car and no one will respect me if I drive one. I'm going to get the Touring edition if I get the the car.

Answer
Anybody who makes fun of you for having that nice of a car probably drives either a Ford Escort or Chevy Cavalier. The Lacrosse is a great car and it is really cool car to have for your first car. It is big enough to hold your friends and it still gets good mpg. I would love to drive that car but I still have a great car (2012 Jeep Liberty).
