Car restoration magazines.?

Im plan to start restoring a 86 Camaro sometime in the near future. I was wondering what would be any good car restoration magazines would be good for this. i already have a Summit Racing magazine for parts and i get Camaro Performers, i would like to have a magazine that is strictly on restoring cars.

1. Get a restoration guide (http://www.amazon.com/Classic-Camaro-Restoration-tips-techniques/dp/1855203820/ref=sr_1_12?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1290287462&sr=1-12) or if you can find one, one specific for you model.
2. Get the factory service manuals (e-bay motors might be a good place for that one)
3. Search the internet of projects like yours. Some home restorations are well documented.
4. Get a Hemming Motor News.
As for a specific magazine, Hot Rod covers custom ones and has some articles now and then. But not always in depth enough to truly help. Super Chevy (superchevy.com) would have articles now and then.
A piece of advice from a general restoration hand book (out of print), get two of the same type car. One that you can drive and one to work on. When you get stumped or stagnate on the project, take the running one out for a spin to remember why you are doing it.
Get a good digital camera and take pictures of everything as you take it apart and make back ups. You will forget how it goes back together and even the manuals don't always show you in enough detail. More then likely you will not take the picture you need the details for. Another reason to have one that is all together. At least then you can go look and see how it was done.

Professional car magazines?

I need to find a professional car magazine that I can access online (like Transmission Digest.) I have a report and presentation due tomorrow morning at 7 AM, but I have been SO sick and by the time I was really able to start working on it, all the articles from the recent editions of magazines had already been selected by other students. I have to write and report about an article related to suspension, in particular. It can't be a hobby magazine, so no hot rod or four wheeling magazines. Please help! I have like four hours to write this report and prepare a presentation.

Insideline is owned by Edmunds.com, which is really big in everything car-related, and reports car news, recent innovations in the industry, and specs of the most recent cars in the market.

How do we know when car companies are going to make the next generation of a certain model?

I'm a fan of late models because they usually are improvements of the earlier models. Another reason why is so that I don't have to buy the parts that make my car look like the "kouki" model or perform like one. In other words, I want the whole package at once! How can we find out when they will come out with a new generation so I know when I can buy the car I really like during it's last year of production?

Is it technologically impossible to increase the range and shorten the charging time of electric cars?

So electric cars can take up to 20 hours to fully recharge. Is it impossible to to make it any quicker? Like in 5 minutes? Why does it take so long?

How about instead of charging cars, why not just replace the battery? You go in, take the battery out by pulling and twisting on two levers, and slide in another one and off you go.

Hi, I'm looking into buying a classic car that is already mostly restored. I'm looking into staying original. What are great exhaust brands and the cost for a good exhaust system? Will it be hard to install electronics like cd/ mp3 players? How much does it cost for a good paint job? I'm purchasing a 1969 chevelle locally

cool car, the best way to keep something as special as that an investment is to buy the best of the best parts, You can add any electronics you want easily, there are even companies who make original radios that are all modern high performance electronics, type year one in your web search box, and take your time this is one company that specializes in high quality reproduction parts, they are often better quality than factory, and you will pay for it too. There are many other companies that specialize in 69 chevelle parts, you can also check at an online magazine called hemmings motor news www.hemmings.com there should be many magazines made for that specific car, in fact with just the vin numbers and a fresh title, you can buy a completely new car with the hugh quantity of reproduction parts available.
Money is the only limitation for what you want to do as to a paint job, it depends on who much prep work needs to be done, If you want top dollar, than at the very least you need a first class factory color laid down by a good shop. you need to start asking the locals who live and breath these cars, where to go, you may end up at some guys garage in the back of his house, surrounded by totally awesome cars, just like you want yours to be for a reasonable price 3 to 5 grand should be plenty for what a classic of this calibre needs. Also auto traderclassics sometimes has parts, same with hemmings website there are many links to many things, it just takes time playing on the internet until you find what you want.
