Is it legal to install xenon headlights in cars in Malaysia?

I get contrasting information. I read in news that they are illegal - officials from the Road Transport authorities were quoted as saying that they will fine those found with such lights installed. Then I read that our national car manufacturers install xenon headlights as standards in their new models. Personally, I hate these lights. They hurt the eyes when coming from a car opposite and irritates when the lights shine into my rear-mirror.

It is illegal to install xenon bulbs if it is not the standard specs for your car model. It is only legal if the xenon bulbs is part of the standard specs which came with the car.

But it is crazy to have such lighting as it is dangerous to other road users. And it is also very dangerous for the driver of such vehicle during heavy rain at night .However malaysia is truly asia as we have 2 different sets of law. One for the elites and rich and one for the common people.

Im not sure what they are using the water for in Maylaysia, but there have been tests of a car that has a very strong electronic pulse that when water is sprayed into it, it is actually seperated into hygrogen and oxygen. The hydrogen is used for fuel and the oxygen is blown away from the car...........the only problem is that when you are at a stop light the oxygen accumulates and the car explodes........that is the problem with that,

Why do news reporters get into trouble with the police?

This one reporter in Mt Clemens always show the word "Police" on a police car "BUT" he leaves out the first two letters so it shows "Lice". Does he have that right? A few other reporters do the same thing.

I would consider using a sign like that as being provocative.

As for the other aspects of the question, the answer may depend upon the media laws in the various countries or states.

Here in Australia the laws regarding what a news media person may do and may not do are very clear and all the media know the regulations, but a lot of police do not, and the police attempt to stop the media from doing their legitimate job. I have had a number of conflicts with local police because of their lack of knowledge.

In countries like Malaysia and Singapore the media are under tighter controls and some media, especially foreign media, do encounter trouble over what is written. Similarly in Indonesia where they can even stop a newsman from travelling to a story location outside of Jakarta. This has happened to me on several occasions.
