There IS no "crisis", it is an invention of Fox News and the Tea Pot people...

Our National Debt is approaching 100% of GDP, so under-educated talking heads at Fox want you to believe that is a "crisis"....

Yet almost ALL American home-owners began their homeownership with 30-year mortgages that were 300% of THEIR annual income (GDP is really just the "annual income" of the nation)....why aren't THEY all in "crisis"?

Should we outlaw mortgages?

How about car loans, are THEY a "crisis"?

It would be ILLEGAL for the US Congress NOT to approve an increase in the US Debt Ceiling according to the 14th Amendment....so who do you trust more, Fox News? Or the authors of the 14th Amendment which has stood unchallenged since it was ratified in 1868?

After being in a car accident and having one of the passengers die can you choose to not have it in the paper?

Theres this crazy story going around about some kid that was in a car accident in the middle of brooklyn NY. and his car got hit by an 18wheeler and his car rolled 10 times off a cliff. IN THE MIDDLE OF BROOKLYN!! PLEASE tell me if this is possable. Now there saying that its not in the paper because the family chose for it not to be, I thought it had to be in the paper you could only choose to not have the names givin out. Right?

Public knowledge is public knowledge. I'm under the understanding that news gets put in the paper regardless. Maybe you could beg and plead w/ the cops or the newspaper officials, but even home foreclosures and people who don't pay their property taxes go in the paper for all the world to see.

What is the best way to build a 1979 Ford 351 modified engine?

I'm restoring a 71 mustang with a 79 351 m in it. Any help will be greatly appreciated.
The vehicle is in bad shape and I'll be thrilled if I can just get it turning over/running.

I had a number of fords from that time period I had a cougar xr7 with a built 351 windsor that was one tire smoking bad boy at the time and while I managed to stay under the police radar in it the car was too fast for me being young and I managed to bash it into a cliff and a big tree stump which finnished it off. There were either a 351 w or windsor in the fords in the late 60s early 70s or the 351 C or cleveland. The windsor was about 400 lbs lighter which made it more desirable for hot rodders but both engines were good and did good on gas as long as you kept your foot off the floor.
Late 70s ford came out with the modified for the smog bs. It sucked lacked power and while it made emissions it was not very good because the detuned the heads and did some other wierd sh it.
My question for you is do you live in an area where emissions is required? and if so what is the cut off year? if you dont have to put that modified back in dont. There are a lot of other better motors and many newer fuel injected motor and tranny combos can be had from a wrecking yard standpoint with low miles for not a whole lot of money. Anything newer fuel injected will come with the wire harnesses and transmission to make the swap a lot more fun and less hassle.
If you plan to do a 351 on a budget consider some performance heads and a 50 state legal cam a new carb and a a dual exhaust this will give you plenty of power and stll get through emissions. The good news is emissions in 79 were pitiful by todays standars that is why I brought up a late model fuel injection they pass with flying colors compared to a carb and the gas mileage is better too. food for though. There are some good companies who have mustang parts here are a few links The better more well known ones have a reputation they won the hard way and while the parts are not cheap they are either as the factory made them or even better in many cases so you at least get what you pay for. you can also drop in a factory new crate motor for under 2 grand from fordracing website and there are plenty of others . summitracing has lots of engine parts Jegs does and if you want to make you a bad to the bone wild stang go look at roush http://dealers.roushperformance.com/

I saw one show where they put a a 440 big block in a dodge dart which was amazing as it was not supposed to fit. being as the dart is not a full size car.(man that had to be fun to drive though ! )

I am doing research on camino de santiago these days. There used to be many pilgrims died because of disease and accidents. How about nowadays? Can anyone give me any information or websites about the data please? Thank you so much.

I'm really not sure that anyone would keep statistics of the number of pilgrims dying on their way to Santiago de Compostela. The main reason being that these deaths are the responsibility of the local area the pilgrim was in at the time of death, it's not the sort of information collated on a country-wide basis. There are many Camino routes through Spain that would need to be looked at, plus those routes through France that converge on the Spanish border, and through other European countries on the way to France, not forgetting the route through Portugal. All in all it's quite a wide network.

Pilgrims do still die on the Camino, mainly on the Camino Frances, that's the busiest route. Death is usually due to road accidents, heart attack, and exposure. Ths year, two pilgrims died in September after being hit by a car; one pilgrim died of a stroke in June; one died on the Camino Norte due to an illness. In March, a pilgrim's body was found on the Route Napoleon, over the Pyrenees. He fell over a cliff, possibly in thick fog. Last year two pilgrims died from exposure during blizzards in January and March in the same area.

I am your typical teenage girl (15) and everyday is never the same feeling-wise. During the day and the evening, i can hardly concentrate, my mind is is hopping from one lily pad to another; my feelings go, literally, insane. For a while, I'll be happy, then sad, then lustful, then sad again, then angry, then I'll get over it all and do something that makes me happy and push everything else aside; rinse and repeat.
When i was under 11 my feelings were usually very stable, now I'm very irritable, easily put to tears, easily amused, and what the heck is all the lust about? I just don't get it.
What are my hormones doing to make me feel this way? I know that they're growing and maturing, but that can not be all, can it?

from things You hit the nail on the head. For the next 4 years or so, you'll feel like a passenger in a car being driven off a cliff by a drunken spastic monkey.

What I did seemed to work. Try and learn to be a bit detached as much as you can, if you feel a strong emotion assume it's not really yours, it's your body's problem. That way when the spastic monkey tries to make you have a screaming fit over nothing, you have a chance of stopping yourself in time.

The good news is by the time you get to college it'll all be over. So just don't take your time in high school too seriously and you'll be fine.

you hear news that a city is in danger. whether it be a natural disaster or an army ready to kill them is not important. You need to deliver the news to help evacuate the city. but to get to the city you need to cross a cliff which has a small path, barely enough to fit the car but your car fits. So you speed since you dont have a lot of time before the 1000s die. you see a figure up ahead just walking. There is no room in the side to go around him, and no time to stop and to talk to the guy. Do you run him over to save the city or do you stop, knowing you could have saved 1000 people.

I know there can be smart answers around this but the point of this question is to test your moral not your intelligence.

so kill a person you dont know to save 1000 people
or not kill and let 1000 people die

you do not know the person on the cliff. He/She could be a boy or girl, man or child, good or evil. it could be a murderer or pedophile for all you know. But it can also be a person who has helped others throughout his/her life. Or just a simple person just walking on a cliff.

The people in the city are children, women, sick, healthy all types.

lets say youre a bomb defuser and theres a time bomb in the city. YOU KNOW you can save the people.

and sure that one person could do a lot. But you would be doing a lot if you killed him.

Part my religious and part of my moral views would determine my action. I would not kill. For me as a muslim, it is against my religion to harm anyone. We think of it as if you've killed all mankind. Also, I feel like the burden of knowing that I killed an innoccent person for the rest of my life would be hard to bear. Yes you may saved 1000 people, but you also took a life as well. In the end YOU killed an innocent human which is unforgivable whereas the urgent danger in the other town, how ever devastating it may be, was not of your making so it is not your fault if the people die. It only makes sense to not kill that one person so as to stay true to yourself. The big difference is that if you save 1000 people but kill someone you will still feel like a murderer BUT if you give mercy to an innocent human but lose the lives of others that didnt die from your will, then you wouldnt feel like a murderer. Think about it, what would Spiderman or Aragorn or Harry Potter do? lol
