&& what are the clashes between conflict between the privacy rights of celebrities and the rights of journalists to meet the audienceâs desire for information

thank you SO muchh. <3

Answer
Not releasing the victim's name immediately is a courtesy to the family, so they won't learn about it from the radio or TV or some acquaintance calling and saying, "I just saw on Channel 101 that your husband was murdered!" Also, it guards against the possibility that the victim was misidentified in the beginning. Most news media are willing to extend this degree of courtesy, especially since it won't cost them anything.
Of course the media actually have the right to broadcast this information; but public indignation is something they wish to avoid, usually, so they don't. Besides, a lot of media personnel are decent people.
Celebrities have a lesser expectation of privacy than the average citizen. Nevertheless they do want some privacy. If a celebrity is killed in a car crash, it is less likely that the media will delay the identification.
So far we are talking about information that is not hidden or secret. But the real conflict begins when journalists actively spy or invade the privacy of celebrities, to get real or fake information. Even a celebrity has a reasonable expectation to be private in his/her home.
Journalists have been arrested for harassing people in their own homes; sometimes they feel it is worth a few hours in jail and a fine, to get the information and get paid for it.
