Hey, I'm a 25 year old college graduate (Spring 2011) and I work as a molecular biology lab tech with a salary of 30,000. I have 80,000 in student loans (18,000 private loans & no credit card debt) and I'm in need of a car. Right now I have 6,000 saved and I was looking at purchasing a new or 2 year old car and I wanted some advise on which car would be a good decision.

Extra: I have been looking at a 2012 dodge challenger sxt, 2010 CPO Lexus IS250 & 2012 Honda Accord Coupe LX. I was leaning towards the Lexus because I would not have for maintenance if any for 3 years and also resale value.

Answer
Ditto the others. Don't take on more debt than you have to, especially if it's unnecessary. You can get a luxury car later. As for other suggestions, finding a well-maintained more modest car will serve you well. The good news is that even in the compact segment, there are a lot of great, reliable (when cared for) cars around, a few of which are also great fun to drive. I personally like the Mazda 3 and older 6, older Honda Civics and Accords, Subaru Imprezza and older Legacy. (I'm like driving so I prefer cars which have good feedback and can be found with manual transmissions, but there are a lot of other choices).
