Should I buy Forza Motorsport 3 or Gran Turismo 5?

marcus123

Which one should I get? Right now I am leaning towards Forza mainly due to the large gap in price. Forza has something like 500 cars while GT5 has around 1000 cars, but the whole premium standard thing kinda has me bumed. It wouldn't be such a big deal, but the gap between the 2 seems big. I don't really wanna play GT 4 again. Damage is also a minus. I mean I don't really have to have burnout damage, but from what I have seen there really is no damage in GT5. I haven't played a forza game and liked the gameplay in GT4 (it was hard though). Really the biggest deal breaker for me is the premium standard car thing. I mean I doubt I will unlock all 1000 sum odd cars. I would hate to end up with 100 standard GT4 cars and like 20 nice new premium ones. So which should I get. It would be nice to hear from people who played both, but any input would be great. Thanks!

Answer
Well, please forgive my English, and i will try my best to help you.

each one of them has positive and negative things,

It depends on your needs, so I will give some info on each game from my experience.

1- Gran Turismo 5

-Gran Turismo 5, Has around 1000 cars, but only 200 of them has great real details, and the other 800 are just like the PS2 graphics. And they have no (in car view)

- The damage in Gran Turismo is great, the only thing that itâs not available once you start the game. You should increase your level to make it work. And it clearly shows on the 200 premium cars
.
The reason they Did so is that fixing damage cost money. And if they allow damage from the beginning, the game will be difficult for the beginners.

also

-GT5 has more maps than Forza 3
-GT5 has Dirt, snow and rain tracks, Forza 3 doesnât
-GT has Rally, Nascar, and Kart Racing which add a lot to the game.
-Oil change and car wash.
-GT5 has better and more smoke coming out of the tires when you make a show with your car.

2- Forza 3

-Forza has around 550 cars. All of them are in the same great graphics, all of them can be damaged, and all of them have the (in car view) While driving.

-Forza 3 has extra option for the manual transmission (with Cluth) which make the game more interesting.

-Forza has Better Engine sounds, better Turbo and Supercharge sounds.

-Forza Has much better upgrading system for your car⦠All the parts in the game are from real and famous companies. Such as (HKS), you can swap engines, add Turbos, supercharges, cams, and many many more to your car. you can even change the drivetrain, (ex: from FF to 4WD, or from 4WD to FRâ¦..etc. While GT5 upgrading system is very simple and cannot be compared to Forza 3.

-In Forza you can add bodykits, vinyl groups and custom paint jobs to your car.

-Forza also Has three (Drag race tracks)

These are some of the differences between GT5 and Forza 3, and you can decide what is better for you.

To be honest with you, I have and enjoy both of them, so my advice to you is just to go ahead and buy (both of them), both of them are worth to buy.

If you got them both, you will have tons of fun, either as a single player or with your friends.

Thanks

And again (Please forgive my weak English) (^_^)

Cars in Alexandria Egypt.....HELP?

Ahmed El

I am about to move to Egypt from the United States. I am 34 years old and have been in the states since I was 3 years old. I have had my drivers license since I was 16 years old. I want to buy a reliable used car for a good price. Is there an online catalog with prices that I can look at. I am just wondering the average price. I have a 2002 honda accord here in the states so I would like something as reliable. Also is it easy to get a drivers license there in Egypt. I dont speak arabic that well but I am learning now. I also heard that driving in Egypt is dangerous, Is that correct. Lastly is everybody required to buy car insurance in Egypt so if you get in a car accident its covered. Thats how it is in the states and I was wondering if its like that there

Answer
Cars in Egypt . Ball is in my park.

You drive a Honda , you'll be better set with a late 90's Honda Civic. front wheel drive and well .. think of it as a miniature Accord. I am a BMW person , So i cant help you much here.
Cars in Egypt are really OVERPRICED comparing to abroad. a late 90's civic can cost up to 60K Egyptian pounds. Stick to the used cars , stay away from local alexandrian cars , Sea salt aint good for the lower structure. Try choosing a decently used car , be aware that any cars that get hit or flipped here get repaired, and you might come across cars with a complete front/rear clip change. (yea , they cut cars in halfs and reweld them with new halfs here.)
Driving in Egypt is like playing GT4. Get prepared to a really agressive and defensive driving style.
License in Egypt is easy to get. Apply for a personal license , you should be able to read arabic and answer the "computer exam" . you'll have to get a mini handbook with some info in arabic in it, wich you need to read and understand , as questions usually are choosen from it.
Another way is to check with your embassy , they make life easier for you here.

Check this site : www.car100100.com to have an idea about prices. NEVER BUY A CAR ONLINE OR OFFLINE WITHOUT INSPECTING IT OR GETTING IT INSPECTED.
A third way is to Pay and get it done. (Corruption rules , you just have to locate the right people)
Car insurance : there are two kind of car insurance. First one you pay while you register your car , that aint much , and is paied every year or 3 years (choose to register your car every 3 years , it aint an easy task) . The second one (the kind you speak of) is not obigatory here. When you get in a car accident , first thing to do is REPORT IT TO THE POLICE , AND PREPARE CASH TO "WORK THINGS OUT" if it is your fault.

Any further questions , feel free to ask.

tiesto died from car accedent?

john ss

Answer
no.

Rumors of a car crash causing his death were spread on the Internet in September 2006 but the website announcing the news turned out to be a hoax. The rumors created by Henry Williams [citation needed]

However, on Tuesday, September 19th, Tiësto complained of chest pains and shortness of breath. As a result, he was hospitalized in the Netherlands for medical testing. Early indications are that he is suffering from a condition known as pericarditis. The doctors are confident that he will make a complete recovery through the use of medication and rest. It is understood however that he will be forced to miss some performances he was scheduled to appear at

i heard sean kingston had a car crash and is in a comer for 5 years is it a rumor or tru and if so?

Q. can u point me to a news page with the artical?

Answer
It's just a rumor. Sean Kingston isn't in a coma. You know how these shitty tabloids and crappy newspapers that are nothing but bullshit say stuff about celebs that are nowhere near being true. The National Enquirer, for example. I mean, how stupid do they think we are? We're obviously not dumb enough to believe a word they say. Kids might, but not us teenagers and adults. Anyway, no need to worry.

Car rental??? How i know?

Happy

that its a safe side? I was doing some research on car rentals sides so i found www.bnm.com with good cars n prizes... n now i m thinking about reserving a car but i m still a lil worry (u know have 2 type in my information card number, name...)
maybe ya can give me so advice or maybe 1 of u got a car from this company
Thank you
yes i was thinking i wont have to pay until we get there...cuz thats whats th webside is saying... but they do want the credit card information (in case of no cancellation n not showing up + if u want insurance u have to pay 4 it right now!!)

Answer
Hi, I normally check out what I want on the web and then phone the company to give card details etc. In this case they will keep your info on the system in case of accidents etc which is normal practise. You will not be able to make a booking without supplying the relevant info. Some companies say that they will remove your details after the transaction is finished but hard to prove that they do.

News =( .?

Rebecca

Why is the news never about good news? It's always about the bad news, like about the war in iraq or so and so was in a car crash here, a bus exploded, yatta yatta yatta. And now since Heath Ledger died because an accidental overdose of drugs... they're gunna keep that up for like 3 days and then leave it alone and then two months from now, they're gunna bring it back up

That's all that the news does, is with new news is up for 3 days... drops it..... two months..... review

Dont they know that they aren't helping?

Answer
The news isn't your therapist.

i've been hearing about plane crashes is it still safe to fly?

Elizabeth

i've been seeing tons of stuff on the news where stuff keeps going wrong with planes and theres all these crashes and stuff and i was going to fly to my friend's house in a few months but now i'm afraid to realistically what are the odds of being in a plane crash?

Answer
the car ride to the airport is more dangerous than the flight, I fly 3-7 times a month, actually in the last 15 days I have been on 11 different flights and that does not include non commercial flights; I have a pilots license and my buddy has a plane that I use up to a couple times a week
My brother in law is a commercial pilot so I am plugged into what is taking place in the aviation world, I can tell you with confidence that you are very safe and should not worry the least about flying, go visit your friend and don't worry...like I said, the car ride to the airport is more dangerous than the flight

Where can I find info of classic muscle car owners in Colorado?

Stephan

Im looking for a popular website for classic muscle cars that a lot of Colorado guys use. I'm looking for 1969 Plymouth roadrunner 426 hemi that's black with a red stripe going down driver side. It was bought about 20 years ago in denver at a small auction for $500. Muscle car web sites or anything that owners use to chat would help me a lot.

Answer
First, a Hemi Roadrunner for $500? No.
Second, to find muscle car owners in Colorado, try Googling something like "Denver muscle car clubs". You could also try the Autos discussion category on your area's Craigslist.

Need info from all car owners with mods!?

olie r

Hi my name is Olie and im turning 17 later this year, i have got a part time job doing vehicle graphics.

Anyway i was just wondering if anyone knows how much it would cost (roughly) for a nissan skyline and some nice body mods (i dont need to worry about the graphic side of mods because i can do that all myself)

if any body has some good websites based for garages based in Leeds, UK that would also be nice

thanks in advance =]

Olie

Answer
Hey Olie

Best place to ask for local sellers and mods for your model is

http://www.skylineowners.com/forum/index.php

Get on the forum they have been a great help to me and other owners worldwide, and i never buy any mods unless i post a thread on there first,as i know i will get great true advice.
Its a free forum and free to join,Traders are on the site and will offer you discount on mods through being a member.
Which Skyline are you looking at getting with your age you may be best going for an R32 and even the GTS non turbo model its the same froup as the turbo version but nagging at insurance companies that its a non turbo and they cant charge you turbo prices does help.
The insurance will be high mine is and iam just in my thirties. and on my second skyline and owned a list of imports. But if you have the money there will be someone to insure you.And then you will be able to get the skyline smile.
Prices vary from a non turbo GTS around £1500-£2500 for a decent one ,and even without the turbo its still 155-165bhp and RWD and engine can be tuned.some owners have even added a turbo.Check its the Twin cam version as the single can version is slower.later non turbo models had the 2.5L non turbo engines also.
Other non turbo versions vary These come as the R33 GTS which comes as a 2.0L and a 2.5L non turbo and with all the years a four door version.and the estate version being the Stagea and the R34 non turbo being the R34 GT.Then your upto The turbo versions being the R32 GTS-T the R33 GTS-T and the R34 GTT then the daddies on the models without the limited versions the GTR specs.
As said all are group 20 but non turbo and single turbo models offer play with insurance.

9/11 Conspiracy Theory?

Barry

WHAT ARE YOUR THEORIES?

Long read but worth it, very interesting!

After a long 10 years of watching footage after footage on the 9/11 attacks" some of the things just don't add up?
1. Not one person saw any plane hit the twin towers that day. Some say they seen an object/missile shaped but NO plane. If you have a look at "September clues" on youtube it will give you a better insight. Now for an example take a car hitting into a concrete wall at a steady speed of just 20mph, the front of the car would be smashed into pieces even at a very slow speed. But on 9/11 wee see video footage of a 'plane' travelling at 500-600 mph. The video shows the plane crashing through the twin towers and out through the other side with the nose of the plane still entact, and not one bit of damage can be seen on the nose of the plane. A 'blackout' occured as soon as the nose came out of the building as a coverup so hopeing no one saw the undamaged nose. Coincidence?...I think not. TV has been lying through their noses the whole time. At one incident, it shows a plane heading diagonally down towards the middle of the south tower, but in another shot, the plane is heading in perfect straight line towards the top of the tower. A plane could NEVER EVER incline that much in such a short distance, it would at least have to take 10 times the distance before impact.
2. Colour contrast of every news team was TOTALLY different. 1 was a dark brown colour, other light blue almost white another was even a shade of green... what is wrong here is that TV news has beenrigged to fool us that we were watching 'live' TV, i was not live at all... the news we seen was a reinactment 1 hour before impact, ABC News made a quick yet noticeable mistake... the time on their channel said 7.50 instead of 8.50 another 'blackout' occured when they noticed this and it quickly changed the time. Anchors from at least 4 news channels had read their 'script' as you can clearly tell it was written for them. 2 anchors said "I couldn't believe wehen the missi (achem) plane hit the first tower. Everything was computerised...when the 1st plane hit the tower, it just 'absorbed into the towers causing no damage in the side of the tower after th crashes, but when the explosion occured OH we'll put in some effects to look like a plane went throught the building.
3. When passers by wanted to film the towers either using a video camera or phone it could not be done as all filming equipment includling cell phones were blocked for the hour, but "conicidently" all news cameras could work perfectly. This why no one can prove there were planes involved only news cameras, but remember not one passer by seen ANY planes, just an object and explosion.
3. The people interviewed were actors, in 3 DIFFERENT videos, there was a shout from ONE woman saying "Oh My God!" the same womans voice appeared in three different videos (more detailed on september clues on youtube.) A teenage boy was interviewd on the street and you could tell the people in the background of the video were fake..believe it or not its true, the 'man' walking behind the interviwer was a 'glass man' aka computerised human (take a look at the video yourself it;s very clear mistake they have made.)
4. The news channels all had the same feed (connected to one another) just for this one shot. The backdrop (scenary) around the twin towers were different in each of the news channels...in ABC it showed the whitestone bridge, but in CNN, there was no sign of the bridge in the background, did it dissapear for a moment?...I dont think so..silly mistake by the 'editing' crew.

These are just a small few of other interesting things that are included in "September Clues" on youtube. Take a look at it for yourself.

I'm still trying to figure out why we had to be 'lied' to? One of my theories is that, for some reason I think this is tying in with the NEW World Order (Denver Airport Conspiracy)... do the actors and stooges in 9/11 become immune to the order now that they have played their role?

Answer
The implications of the discovery of unspent aluminothermic explosives and matching residues in World Trade Center dust are staggering. There is no conceivable reason for there to have been tons of high explosives in the Towers except to demolish them, and demolition is blatantly incompatible with the official 9/11 narrative that the skyscrapers collapsed as a result of the jetliner impacts and fires.

The discovery of active thermitic materials adds to a vast body of evidence that the total destruction of the Towers were controlled demolitions, and to the subset of that evidence indicating the use of aluminothermic materials to implement those demolitions.

That discovery also undermines the oft-heard claim that no explosives residues were found, a claim that was never compelling, given the apparent lack of evidence that any official agency looked for evidence of explosive residues of any kind. Worse, the public record shows that NIST not only failed to look for such evidence, it repeatedly evaded requests by scientists and researchers to examine numerous facts indicating explosives and incendiaries.

I need info on hybrid cars I am doing a speech about them?

Hassan

I am doing a speech on Hybrid cars and on cars that don't take up much gas.

can i get some help?

thanks

Answer
Typically, when one is thinking of a hybrid car, it is usually a gasoline/electric hybrid, as that is what is currently available commercially. (There are diesel-electric concept cars (not in production), and there are diesel-electric locomotives, submarines, and heavy construction equipment...) Usually a dual-fuel vehicle, like a CNG-gasoline or LPG-gasoline vehicle isn't in the popular hybrid definition, but those are usually aftermarket-fitted anyways.

How a hybrid car works depends on the technology that a manufacturer decided to use to make it a hybrid. Not all hybrids are created equal.

As the lowest common denominator, hybrids usually have a larger electric motor (for starting the gasoline engine or for charging the hybrid battery), larger/additional hybrid battery pack to drive the electric motor, auto-stop (gasoline engine turns off at idle), regenerative braking (coasting or light braking will cause the motor to act as a generator, capturing some of that lost kinetic energy of wheel motion and storing it as electricity in the hybrid battery), improved fuel economy, and lower emissions.

More improved hybrid systems allow for tuning for higher performance (more power or acceleration), or for more fuel efficiency (usually through using a smaller engine, where the electric motors help out). On the more improved hybrid systems, you could see:
- ability to act as a standing generator to power equipment off-site
- additional peak power, by the electric motor assisting the gasoline engine as required (for acceleration or hill climbing, for example), similar to a turbo
- electric-only propulsion (short periods of the electric motors/hybrid battery alone powering the car, for low power requirements (such as coasting, driving on the level, low speeds)
- reduction in weight and ability to move accessories from belt-driven to electrically-driven (smaller wires needed)

The Ford/Mercury/Mazda hybrid system and the Nissan hybrid system is fairly similar to the older Toyota THS system (seen on the 2001-2003 Prius). Toyota/Lexus hybrids are currently using the THS-II or HSD (Hybrid Synergy Drive) system. Honda is using their IMA (Integrated Motor Assist) hybrid system. GM's newer hybrids are using their BAS (belt-alternator system) or two-mode system, while their older "hybrid" pickups are pretty much the lowest common denominator listed above.

For general overviews:
http://www.hybridcenter.org/hybrid-center-how-hybrid-cars-work-under-the-hood.html
http://auto.howstuffworks.com/question262.htm
http://www.howstuffworks.com/hybrid-car.htm
http://www.fueleconomy.gov/feg/hybridtech.shtml

The problem is that not all hybrids are created equal. There are different hybrid technologies, depending on manufacturer. Even among the same manufacturer, you can find one model tuned for performance (power and acceleration) with only a slight fuel efficiency improvement, compared to another for fuel efficiency and emissions. (See the Honda Accord Hybrid vs. Honda Civic Hybrid, or the Lexus models compared to their sister Toyota models...)

Take the vin down to the courthouse and they should direct you what to do.

Probably just a matter of a notarized statement saying they owe you.

Replacing a Lost Car Title?

Felicia

I've lost my car titled and am in need of replacing it. I bought the car in NYS, and moved to AL while there was a lien on it. The car was registered in AL and I ended up moving back to NY and was re-registered in said state. When the car was paid off the title said AL even though I was in NY. I can't request a duplicate of the title from NYS dmv because it says that the info on file for them claims the car was non-titled, and/or the title was never released. What do I do?

Answer
Request a duplicate title from AL. You can probably do it online as long as you have all the info.

I am trying to learn German using car websites.?

Siddharth

I am just at the finishing level of A1 German in my German class, and I thought of trying to learn to read some German by reading some articles. I love cars and I follow websites such as autoblog and jalopnik quite eagerly, and I thought if those websites had a german equivalent, it would be nice, but they aren't there, and what other german auto websites would be interesting enough? I mean, I did try to read a few articles from auto-news.de and automobil-produktion.de (Google Translate for the words, rest I try to figure out by myself), but while they do make for informative websites, they aren't jalopnik-ish. What are some interesting automotive websites in German preferably like jalopnik?

Answer
Yours is a nice, if unusual method. I've used that in the past and it works fine, although somehow delimited by the technical language - German, as any other language, is MUCH MORE, so make sure also to move on.
One of the features of German as a technical language is that it has the highest INTRINSIC precision, leaving least space for interpretation. This in itself simplifies communication, but requires a higher level of rigor than English or most other languages.
so you should first of all learn PROPER terminology, then spread out to more informal one, which is why I would suggest a few useful sites, not necessarily close to the one you cite:
http://www.kfz-tech.de/ (among other things, contains a well-compiled EN-DE glossary of terms)
http://www.adac.de/ (the German equivalent of the AA, an international-level service, very well documented, with many car-relate topics)
most German equipment manufacturers (BOSCH, HELLA, EBERSPAECHER...) have excellent sites in several languages. Those are the world leaders who actually "write the book" on car technology.
As a very good DE-EN dicitionary I suggest LEO (http://dict.leo.org/).
Keep up the good work.

I'm looking into getting a new car, any opinions on an Audi?

tom_carla

I'm planning on buying a car within the next 6 months. I really like Audis a lot but I've heard good and bad things about them. I like the A4, but if they're too much of a hassle I'll look at something else.

Answer
I'm assuming you like the Audis because of their looks, performance, interiors, etc. Yes, they are quite excellent in these aspects (especially the interiors, which are really attractive).

As far as reliability, maintenance, service - there's good and bad news. The A4 in recent years has become a more relia ble model, probably more so than the A6, its bigger brother. I think Consumer Reports has rated them to be at least average or better than average - which is based on ownership surveys. Are you buying new or used? If you can get new, or at least a certified pre-owned, you will have some things covered.

Whatever model you get, in any case, you will really need to pay strict attention to maintenance schedules. Audis aren't cars that you can just forget about in terms of regular maintenance - they are German luxury/performance cars. They are not cheap to maintain or fix. You can save quite a bit on service costs if you go to an independent garage as opposed to a dealer service center, but it will never be like getting a Honda or Ford serviced in terms of cost.

I would suggest you get in contact with local Audi clubs who can advise you about their experiences with ownership and where to find good service facilities. Good luck!

Car restoration magazines.?

Camydoc

Im plan to start restoring a 86 Camaro sometime in the near future. I was wondering what would be any good car restoration magazines would be good for this. i already have a Summit Racing magazine for parts and i get Camaro Performers, i would like to have a magazine that is strictly on restoring cars.

Answer
1. Get a restoration guide (http://www.amazon.com/Classic-Camaro-Restoration-tips-techniques/dp/1855203820/ref=sr_1_12?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1290287462&sr=1-12) or if you can find one, one specific for you model.
2. Get the factory service manuals (e-bay motors might be a good place for that one)
3. Search the internet of projects like yours. Some home restorations are well documented.
4. Get a Hemming Motor News.
As for a specific magazine, Hot Rod covers custom ones and has some articles now and then. But not always in depth enough to truly help. Super Chevy (superchevy.com) would have articles now and then.
A piece of advice from a general restoration hand book (out of print), get two of the same type car. One that you can drive and one to work on. When you get stumped or stagnate on the project, take the running one out for a spin to remember why you are doing it.
Get a good digital camera and take pictures of everything as you take it apart and make back ups. You will forget how it goes back together and even the manuals don't always show you in enough detail. More then likely you will not take the picture you need the details for. Another reason to have one that is all together. At least then you can go look and see how it was done.

Professional car magazines?

Kat

I need to find a professional car magazine that I can access online (like Transmission Digest.) I have a report and presentation due tomorrow morning at 7 AM, but I have been SO sick and by the time I was really able to start working on it, all the articles from the recent editions of magazines had already been selected by other students. I have to write and report about an article related to suspension, in particular. It can't be a hobby magazine, so no hot rod or four wheeling magazines. Please help! I have like four hours to write this report and prepare a presentation.

Insideline is owned by Edmunds.com, which is really big in everything car-related, and reports car news, recent innovations in the industry, and specs of the most recent cars in the market.

The article is hella technical, and I wouldn't bother reading it all, unless you really have the time to. The article is about newly launched Ford F-150 Raptor, an off-roading equipped truck, you can see an in-depth video on just that here:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pO8Qx1WKyB0

And, a video specifically about the F-150 Raptor's Suspension, here:

Hope that helps.

My student loans are catching up with me, and I'm freaking out!!!?

Amanda C

I've been out of school now for about 4 years and was able to have a forbearance on my student loans and now they say time has ran out and my loans are in default status. I have gotten a few letters from my lender saying my wages will soon be garnished. This is freaking me out because I barely get by now on my $7.00 an hour job. I have talked to my a person at my lender's and this person tells me I have to pay 100.00 a month or they will take 15% of every pay check I get! My question is, does anyone know of a way I can stop this from happening right now? I mean I know I borrowed the $$, and I wanna pay it back. But I can't even afford electricity let alone pay them. What should I do?

Answer
Amanda:

The US Department of Education devotes an entire section of their web page to the matter of student loan default.

Visit the page, and you'll find a discussion of all of the options that are available to you. You can find that page here: http://www.ed.gov/offices/OSFAP/DCS/repaying.html

Don't forget to page through some of the tabs at the top of the page - it's not the most elegantly well designed page you'll ever see, and more than one person (I'm sure) has become hopelessly confused, while trying to navigate it.

Along with that (hopefully) helpful advice, I've got to share some bad news, too. When you borrowed from your lenders, you promised to repay the money over a particular period of time. Your promise didn't say "If I can", your promise said "I will". I mention that because you need to approach a resolution to this problem from the perspective that:

1) not having money and not having a decent job is not, in and of itself, an excuse to not pay

and

2) that any accommodation that the lender allows you (including that 4 year forbearance you've already enjoyed) is a voluntary, generous gesture on their part.

If I sign a contract to provide widgets for a car maker, and they pay me for those widgets, up front, I can't return to the car maker and say "I'd love to send you over those widgets, but you see, I've closed my widget factory, so you're just going to have to go away and leave me alone. I'll try to get you some widgets some day - if, and when I can."

Your promise to pay is just like my promise to provide widgets. The contract says that I HAVE to find a way to hold up my end of the bargain and produce widgets - not someday, or when I'm good and ready, but when I promised to. If the car maker says "We'll give you another 4 years to deliver those widgets", or "We'll take the widgets in much smaller quantities", then they're offering me an accommodation, and I need to be grateful.

I'm not trying to be mean - I'm just trying to point out a reality. Not having a decent job, and not making very much money does not, in any way, provide a legal excuse for not having to repay your loan - not eventually - but as you promised that you would.

Read over that Department of Education info carefully so that you'll know what options are available to you, then contact your lender - explain - not that you know you have to repay and you will some day - but that you want to find the best possible way to get this all squared away.

To be very honest with you - this is always the risk of borrowing for college - if you don't get a decent job - you're in a big, big mess.

Good luck to you.

What factors in India's culture could prove to be opportunities/threats for Audi to enter the market there?

Aslander

I am currently working on a project where I need to identify any possible opportunities or threats (relating to India's culture & history) that Audi might face if they decided to try and start selling a large amount of cars in India.

I am particularly interested in materialism in India, but really any opportunity or threat related to their culture or history would be helpful.

Thanks in advance!
Providing me with Google search results is not what I am looking for. What I am looking for is someone with knowledge of the culture and history of India.

Answer
I could not find a reference to this story at www.sky.com, however, I was able to find the story in the archives of the Daily Telegraph Calcutta. Here it is:

===============================

UK doctor stabs wife, jumps to death with baby
DAVID SAPSTED

London, Feb. 2: An Indian-origin doctor jumped 140 ft to his death in a river, holding his two-year-old son in his arms after stabbing his wife dead early yesterday.

The bodies of Dr Jaya Prakash Chiti and the boy were recovered from the Orwell near Orwell Bridge at Ipswich when police and ambulance crews were called to the notorious suicide spot at 3.45 am.

Officers traced the number plate of a car found nearby and went to a large, detached house in Rushmere St Andrew, near Ipswich, where they found the body of Dr Chitiâs wife, Anupama Damera, a breast cancer specialist at Ipswich Hospital.

The couple were in their forties. Their other child, an 11-year-old boy, was in the house with his dead mother. Police sources said he was probably asleep when she was murdered.

The boy was unharmed and was being cared for by friends of the family last night as detectives in Suffolk tried to contact relatives of the couple. The police said they were not seeking anyone else in connection with the incident, which they are treating as a double murder and suicide.

The couple, who hailed from Nizamabad district of Andhra Pradesh, had an arranged marriage in India, where Damera did her medical studies, and she trained as a radiologist in Nottingham, adds PTI.

A Nizamabad report quoting the police said the doctor visited Nizamabad last month to attend the inauguration of a private hospital and returned to England on January 26.

A police spokesman said that after reports that an estate car had been abandoned, coastguards were called in to scour the river for fear that someone had jumped off the bridge, which spans a wide stretch of the river.

âThe body of a young boy was found in the river Orwell,â the spokesman said. âA short while later, the body of a man was found also. We have launched a murder investigation.

âWe are asking for help from anyone who saw anyone acting suspiciously in the area of the Orwell Bridge in the early hours.â

Part of the area was closed as officers launched a search. Last night, detectives and forensic experts remained at the £250,000 house in Rushmere St Andrew, which was cordoned off. A Toyota Yaris hatchback was in the drive.

Neighbours said the couple moved into the house, two miles from the bridge, last August after their jobs took them to Ipswich from Nottingham.

A neighbour said: âThey were a very nice couple. They were both medical people. He was a doctor and she was a consultant. They appeared to be perfectly normal. We did not hear anything wrong during the night.â

Post-mortem examinations on all three bodies were carried out at Ipswich Hospital, where a spokesperson, Jan Rowsell, declined to comment.

She said: âOur protocol is that it is for the police to take the lead in cases like this until formal identification is made. There has not yet been any formal identification so we cannot make any further comment.â

The familyâs home was being treated as a crime scene, said police standing guard.

The house is situated in a quiet cul-de-sac of modern homes.

A neighbour, Peter Hilling, 55, a technical officer with a housing association, said: âThey seemed a pleasant couple and sent us a Christmas card. But they were very quiet and we only ever saw them when they were driving off somewhere.

âWe did see their elder son come out a couple of months ago with the younger boy on a little bicycle with stabilisers. It looked as if he was showing off his little brother.â
