im looking at a lot of cars right now at a cheaper price, i found mercedes for 8,000 and with 130,000 miles..... do you think that is a good deal? as well how many miles do most motors last?

To answer your first question: It is VERY subjective, meaning (and were talking used cars here) it all depends on how the previous owners(s) maintained the vehicle. Did they change the oil regularly? Did they beat on the car ie: floor it from a stand still all the time/take corners too fast/brake hard/jerky often? etc...Some would say that toyota/honda/nissan cars are better claiming the engines last longer, but most importantly its routine maintainance and driving habits that matter most. I have a 1999 olds intrigue that has 237,000 miles and it runs great mostly cause the previous owner took care of it and as problems arise I fix them in a timely manner. I can't answer your second question "mercedes for 8,000 and with 130,000 miles" simply because it is fart too vague. You are leaving out pertinent info: year? model? Keep in mind when buying a car like Mercedes, even if it is in good condition, and it is a good deal, you will end up paying FAR more in parts / labor to fix/repair/service it. Unless you make a lot of $$$ or are mechanically inclined concider an American/Japanese vehicle. Don't get me wrong, I love BMW, audi and Mercedes, but when they start getting up there in age & mileage ya gotta be prepared to possibly fork up some extra dough. Hope that helps :)

You are better off staying with the Titan 12T 550 motor. It is faster. Read info:
"Motors are characterized by the number of turns and winds they have. 'Turns' refers to the number of times the armature wire is wrapped around the iron core of the armature. In general, the lower the turns, the faster the motor and the higher the turns the more torque the motor has. 'Winds' refers to the number of strands in the armature wire. Motors are available with one to four winds. More winds equal more torque; less winds equal more speed. Turns and winds are denoted in the following format: TURNSxWINDS. For example, a "15x2" denotes a 15 turn, double wind motor." Enjoy.
