Would you like to change the name of the Dodge Charger to 'Cuda?

Dan

The Barracuda was developed 1st by Plymouth in '65-'66 and was successful in it's own right. the Challenger is a clone like the Pontiac Firebird. The word Challenger itwself says it is not a Champion, but it has the Dodge Truck emblem backing it up, Dodge could have been scrapped as easily as the Plymouth except for the truck sales.
First, we need a 'Cuda trim model, then expand that to the entire line like Chevy did to the Chevelle> Malibu then drop the Challenger/Chevelle name. I think "Cuda, everytime I see a Challenger. Anyone else?

Answer
errrrr you might want to pick up a magazine or watch car/dodge related news...

The plan is to stop the Challenger for Model year 2014. The 2 door muscle car from Fiat/Chrysler/Dodge for 2014 will be a Barracuda in honor of the 50th anniversary of the Valiant fish. The car will use the frame of the Challenger/300 but will have a re-worked body. Long term plans have suggested the two names will alternate periodically.

Here is what it might look like: http://dautos.net/2014-dodge-barracuda-concept/
