I don't know the news about her car yet... but I guess anything could happen in Malaysia these days... as you know, here was a meriam buloh explosion in Pudu Raya station... things could get worse next, we just can't speculate on anything else anymore these days...

can i drive a singapore car using my malaysia driving licence in malaysia?

For Malaysian or Singapore PR, you'll need to check with JPJ as recently there is a news which says that for Malaysian who converted their Malaysia license to Singapore license, they'll need to surrender their Malaysia license to Malaysia authority. Which means, they can only have 1 license.
So, if you drive a singapore registration cars, that means you can only show your Singapore license upon request and not malaysia license or else you could end up in some trouble with Malaysian authority.
But, if you drive a Malaysian cars, no problem showing either your SIngapore or Malaysia driving license. Remember, you can only show it to the either one as we are not allowed to hold 2 driving license.
