I heard that this summer, EA is bringing its new game out. Need for Speed World Online. I really want to get it mostly because it involves online play and cool cars. I just read a news article on www.nfscars.net that you can download the game, but in order to finish it you need to buy a starter pack. Is that pack the actual game or are they releasing the game sometime this summer?

The pack and all of this is beta testing... for example the testing for halo 3's reach started 3 weeks ago, we had to download the game to our xbox 360 to play it off the halo ODST disk.
The need for speed world online game is currently in closed beta, but i'm not sure if it's open or closed... the release date of the game is supposed to be some time during 2010 (this year) most likely during the fall.

Too often words in games like those suggested really push the limits of usefulness. Although it is less a game, reading news stories, today online in the past in magazines, and collecting words you don't know or think you know but don't see how they fit, will get you much more useful words. If you have an area of interest (cars, fashion, hunting, athletics) pick stories in that area. Online it is very easy to copy and paste the words into a dictionary site or to highlight them and right click/applications key to search (at least my right click brings up "search Google for ..." most of the time) and if you wish, copy the definitions to a file for review later.
