What are some iphone apps that you guys recommend to have?
Stuff that could make me more productive or maybe an app that just adds convenience to my daily routines? I am also looking for apps that keep me up to date in stocks/business and news around the world. Or maybe an app that offers inspirational quotes. Any recommendations?

Answer
Musts include a flashlight app. Amazing how handy that can be if you drop your keys at night.
I have a magnifier app on my android.
I also have a car expenses app so have the gas expenditures for the entire life of the car.
I travel for the company so have Expensify. It records my receipts
You can now install Google search which includes Google now. That can monitor those stocks you mention. It works with your Google search and settings. Mine knows who my sports teams are for example.
I use Feedly for news. IF your sites have an RSS feed, then Feedly will work great.
Waze is a navigation app with social engineering that Google is buying. It knows where the cops are!
If you use Evernote, that is there too.
I also put a copy of Wolfram Alpha's app on it as it does wonderful for calculations
If you collect business cards, then camcard. It can scan a business card and put it into your contacts etc.
I put a movie collections app to track what disks I have so I can know when I am in the store.
If you and your significant other make a joint grocery list, there is an app that not only makes them, they share them so if you arrive at the store to pick up the forgotten dinner rolls, you might find that your phone also knows that you need apple cider for thanksgiving dinner.
If you ship a lot, package buddy. It tracks them for you.

What are your suggestions to market a website?

The website sells conveyors and conveyor components internationally. I am looking for free or very low cost actions.

Answer
Some ideas:

1. Offer the best products you can. Your content is your best advertisement - if visitors love your content, then they will go back and spread the word to others.

2. Make it easy for users to recommend your site. Viral marketing is very important -- and easy to tap on the Web. But give your users the tools. Get a Recommend this Site script from websites such as cgiscripts.com and similar directories of scripts. Some even go as far as giving incentives to those who recommend the site to their friends.

3. Rank well in the search engines (organic search results, not the pay per click). SEs can be a big source of traffic. The key is to create the best content in your niche. If you have good content, other websites will gladly link to you and offer your site as a resource to their audience. Check the on-page factors and be sure to get linked from authority sites in your topic area. 4. Send out press releases. While outfits charge as much as $650 per release, there are free press release submission places on the Web. Press releases allow you to (a) attract media attention; (b) get more back links to your website without sending each website an email request; and (c) get more visibility especially if your press release gets in Google News or Yahoo News.

5. Submit articles. Write articles and submit them to websites accepting author submissions. You get exposure for your business; establishes you as an authority in your field, and allows you to get backlinks for your website.

6. Syndicate your content with RSS feeds. This is like an autopilot way of driving traffic to a site. If you've got a feed that users want, then they will come to your site

7. Search engine advertising. When doing PPC, monitor your ROI carefully and watch your keywords

8. Offline advertising - from car stickers with your site URL to press interviews to networking in your business community
