Princess Diana documentary photos spark anger By Michael Holden
Mon May 28, 7:22 AM ET

LONDON (Reuters) - A documentary featuring images of the car crash in which Princess Diana died should not be shown because of the distress it will cause her family, the Conservatives said on Monday.

The Channel 4 program "Diana: The Witnesses in the Tunnel" will show pictures of the aftermath of the 1997 accident in a Paris underpass in which Diana, 36, and her lover Dodi al Fayed were killed, along with their chauffeur Henri Paul.

News that the documentary, one of many media projects marking the 10th anniversary of the August 1997 crash, might feature previously taboo photos prompted condemnation.

Hugo Swire, the Conservative Party's culture spokesman, said the program would be insensitive to Diana's sons, Princes William and Harry, and should be cancelled.
It's shameful and extremely disrepectful to the family. She should be remembered for all the good she's done in this world prior to her death.

Answer
I know how you how you feel and I agree completely.

The thing you must consider is the "news" agency's right to produce such a show. If there were no demand for it, no one would watch it and that would spell then end of incident. The agency is only producing something they believe there is a demand for and hence a profit making opportunity.

It is sad that bottom feeders are free to operate this way but in all fairness if the public didn't support this type of "journalism" it would very soon wither and die on the vine.

Who has the same thought?

Kalooka

Everytime i come to Cairo i experience nervous breakdown from the traffic...i won't talk about people's behaviour, how are they driving, the zero tolerance, etc..
But i had this thought last week i was in Cairo (the thought hit me because of the job transfer to Cairo that i may accept, i m originally from Cairo but i left 7 years ago)
so here are the facts;
1. The streets' capacity are nearly the same. (im not sure but i guess the capacity to actual cars running are 300% more or something, correct me if i wrong)
2. The cars are increasing in nos. (IN)
3. The are no cars get (OUT), except the really crashed devastated ones.
4. The government officials seem have no proposed solution out of this situation, nor they seem even thinking about it..

I m afraid one day will come (and it will) all people would leave home with their cars and can never make it back home, i mean total paralysis! What do you think!?
Thanks Adam, it's my boy, send me your e-mail to send it to you :-)
it's only because the summer farah..anyone that happened to you because you didn't ask for my advise..:-)
Fool Proof?; did he really said that? ("People are really overestimating traffic problems,2 days ago I went from my Home in Heliopolis to Haram in 20 minutes" !)

Answer
This is true, but let's see the whole picture,
Cairo is one of the biggest cities in the world, so it is normal that we have high traffic rate,
But, are we trying to solve traffic problems? are we trying to solve any problems? you are asking about the government plan. Do you think that out respective government has plans for anything? (except for ministers vacations in Marina and trips to Europe) .. They don't have plans for economy, education even food.. Do you think that the minister who goes with 30 cars and bikes to guard him in empty blocked street is suffering? may be they forgot that there is traffic problem..
Did you see the president when he said "People are really overestimating traffic problems,2 days ago I went from my Home in Heliopolis to Haram in 20 minutes" !!
In Dubai, due to the unbelievable growth rate the city achieved in the last five years ,, as one of the world fastest growing cities (without intelligent government) They started to suffer from traffic. what was the response?
Plans for the next 10 years with cost of 4 billion dollars.. includes 40km underground, new ring roads, creek buses and bigger buses for public transportation's, bridges and tunnels.. all of this is connected with very accurate time frames..
in Egypt .. We will solve all the problems, IN SHAA ALLAH :)

Yah. He did in interview with Arabiya news channel. I laughed a lot..
