Any ideas about how to lease a car ? What's the best car to lease ?

I'm a college students and I need a car for college and work . At first I wanted to buy a used car up to about 5000 . But then I decided to lease a car. I work part time and I go to college full time so I don't make a big money to finance a car or something. Leasing would also work for me. I can't afford more than 200/ month by the way. Any ideas about what's a good car to lease ? Any info ? Thanks in Advance

Answer
well it depends how you want to look at it. You can do what the others are saying on here and dont lease so you have a $5,000 car that should last a couple of years but you will have to get one with high milage so with that being said there is a good chance it will have atleast one thing break that you will need to replace and after 3 or 4 years you will be out looking for another car. You can lease get a new car or with how bad the economy is im sure you can still find cars from 2008 on the lot, put down around 2000-2500 down for the car and im sure you have alot of cars to pick through that should fall in your $200 a month price range. Also alot of dealerships offer free oil changes for the length of your lease. At the end of your lease you than have the option of buying the car and financing it for 4 years. So if you plan on keeping the car for years i would go with the leasing, less worry about anything going wrong with it. If you plan on just having a car for 3-4 years and then looking for another car then just buy what you can. I would personally go with leasing. You just look in y our local newspaper to see what companies are offering cars that would fall into your monthly range. If you have any family members that work for any auto company i would go with that company because then you get the family discount. Just fill out the paper work and enjoy your car.
