Isn't she suppose to be PROTECTING the country instead of opening it up to illegals?

Answer
Arapio is doing a good job, and is a direct political competitor with her cronies. She does not like his approval rating.. she attacks him. It is pure politics that harms the American People.

Understand a couple of things folks: Phoenix, AZ, had a huge criminal element from Mexico. They lost more cars than any other city in the United States and they headed for Mexico, and Mexico, and Mexico. They had businesses putting their cars inside tall fences, (which worked well) with security. But the Citizens continued to lose vehicles and Phoenix became as flies on the cake. Growth stopped.

Sheriff Joe started pretty serious efforts to control the crime and became very popular. He raided Mesa, Az, which was notorious for gun battles and narcotics, and Napolitano criticized him for it. He did drag nets for illegal aliens, and she tried to cut off his money. The FBI said great job Sheriff Joe.. Governor Napalitano said booo. Sheriff Joe won and the Governor was in the process of losing her job.

One point worth notice: the Napalitano said.. show her a 50 foot fence and she would show you a 51 foot ladder. How cute... try and jump down from 51 feet if you believe that. Further, two news supporters of Napalitano went down to Mexico to buy a 50 foot ladder and couldn't find a thing. While the two reporters were down there, they were threatened before they got out because the Mexican Mafia could not find a way over the fence... and that includes her famous 51 foot ladder.

Napalitano needs to be fired. Sheriff Joe should be director of Homeland Security.

What do you think would be the fastest route by car into Downtown PHX at 8am frm?

As a cab driver here for 16 years, I can answer this one easily. It's Tatum Blvd south to whichever major east/west street you're heading to. The 51 gets really bottle necked at Northern ave and again at the 51 to 10 transition. But really its not going to save you all that much time. Maybe a minute or so. And you have to watch your speed in Paradise Valley or the photo radar will get you. Comb your hair so you look nice!
Best bet is to discipline yourself to leave a few minutes early. Also set your alarm clock radio to a good news station, so you can hear a traffic report on your way out the door. KTAR (92.3 FM) has the best traffic reports.
The other good idea is to buy a car or truck with alt fuel capabilities so you can drive the freeways in the commuter lane legally. I recently bought a Ford Expedition that has dual fuel capability (it runs on gasoline AND propane). It qualifies for the sky-blue license plates, so i can use it in the commuter lane. (I'll sell it to you if you want!)
