I heave a good niche website that deals with car insurance. Farmers insurance is contacting me asking how much I charge to put a link on my sight to help them with their SEO. Any thoughts of a fair price?
They are not interested in ppc because they mainly want the link on my site for SEO purposes. They don't care how man people click the link, they just care that the search engines follow it. Hopefully that clears things up.

Answer
The way that most business approach this type of marketing is using PPC (Pay Per Click). You make an agreement with the company where they pay you everytime someone clicks on their link to go to their site. It is a very common method that I have seen utilized at every business I have worked at. I am a web developer so I have had to deal with this stuff on occasion. Not saying I am an expert, just that this is the most common strategy that I have seen used.

You can find some basic info on PPC marketing here:

Can i drive my moms car without my own insurance?

Riotmaker4

My mom has car insurance and everything, but i'm just wondering if i could like drive her car to the gym or something without adding me to her policy?

I heard its as long as the car is insured right?

I live in california and i do have a valid drivers license and i do live in the household.

Answer
Your mother has insurance coverage on her vehicle... you do not. Insurance only covers for the persons listed on the policy. If you have your own insurance on another vehicle, you do not have to be listed on her policy. But this is not the case... you do not have insurance; therefore, you cannot legally drive anyone's vehicle until you have obtained legal limits of state required insurance.

ADDITION TO CLARIFY:

Based on the info provided by others on this question, I took a moment to review the CA Automobile Insurance Info website. I have included excerpts from the site which clearly indicate that you MUST be on your parent's policy or carry your own insurance in order to be legally covered while driving your mom's car. If you are not on the policy, or carry your own, you may be denied any coverage liability by your mom's insurance company should you become involved in an accident... and common sense says you WILL BE DENIED if you cause an accident and are not listed on the policy, and under any contract law, only the persons listed on the policy (or persons/property harmed by the insured vehicle) are the Legal Obligation of the Insurer: - and no, I am not a lawyer... but I've dealt with enough vague contracts to see right to, and through, the loopholes that will get you burned....

1.All California drivers and owners must have at least the statutory limits of minimum liability insurance or an approved alternative way to pay for injury or property damage they may cause.* Penalties are very severe for non-compliance with this section of the vehicle code.

[ Note the wording⦠"ALL CA Drivers"⦠which will be interpreted by any court as the fact that you must be listed on the policy or carry your own level of insurance ]

2.If you have an accident not covered by insurance, then your license may be suspended.

[ The insurance company is not LEGALLY bound to cover any accident in which you are at fault if you are not listed on the policy of the vehicle or carry your own policy, AND the state will revoke your license in these cases because you will be listed as a âhazardous driverâ ]

3.Your insurance company will send you a proof of insurance card listing the covered automobiles and drivers and showing the policy number and expiration date.

[ Again, wording to reinforce the need of all licensed drivers to be listed on the policy in order for the insurance company to be LEGALLY obligated to cover you in the event of an accident ]

4.In California, driving without insurance is a serious offense.

[ Again, wording to reinforce the need of all licensed drivers to be listed on a policy, or carry their own policy. Failure to do so means the state has the right to revoke your license, and/or submit you to fines/penalties ]

5.Most automobile insurance policies provide coverage for other licensed drivers to drive your vehicle on an occasional basis. As coverage can extend differently to you as compared with an occasional driver, it is critical to read and understand your policy terms and provisions before allowing others to drive your vehicle. Check with your agent/ broker or company for the details. It is a common practice for insurance companies to exclude a driver from your policy for a variety of legitimate reasons under the law. Such driver exclusions must be stated in the policy or by endorsement. Your coverage is not valid while a specifically excluded driver is allowed to drive your vehicle. Be aware of all policy driver restrictions.

[ This one is where everyone becomes confused regarding the car or driver being the one that is insured. Insurance covers the personâs property, not the other way around. Only the person can obtain insurance and sign the contract, not the car! Yes, your car is covered if your policy will allow an âoccasional driverâ; however, if you check with any insurance agent or attorney that specializes in insurance cases, they will all tell you that if the "occasional driver" is not on your policy, or the "occasional driver" does not have their own insurance policy, the âoccasional driverâ will not have the backing of the insurance company and will be subject to full liability, penalties, loss of license, and fines from the state ]

6.What Information do I Need to Have Ready When I get a Quote?
a.You need to know what coverages you want, what limits of liability you require, and what deductibles you desire. Also, you need to have the following basic information available on all drivers in your household:
i.All drivers' names, ages, sex, and marital status;

[ Notice the wording of âall driverâs in your householdâ and an immediate reiteration of âall driverâs namesâ in the first bullet above. This is listed as twice for a reason... if you are not on the policy, the insurance company is under NO LEGAL CONTRACT to cover you in the event of an accident.... and trust me... they won't cover you if you are AT FAULT ]
