What star NASCAR drivers are competing in this year's Daytona 24 hours? What cars are they in and where will they start? Are any in a car that is favored to win?

Answer
Some NASCAR drivers to run Rolex 24 at Daytona: quite a few drivers with NASCAR ties [ran a race in Cup, Nationwide, Trucks, track owner] will be running the Rolex 24 at Daytona at Daytona International Speedway. Including: Jimmie Johnson, Dario Franchitti, Juan Pablo Montoya, AJ Allmendinger, Kurt Busch, Boris Said, Michael McDowell, Scott Pruett, Bill Lester, John Andretti, A.J. Foyt IV, Tony George, Brent Sherman, David Donohue, Buddy Rice, JC France, Colin Braun, Marc Goossens, Andy Pilgrim, Anthony Lazzaro, Jack Baldwin, Andy Lally, Max Papis, David Murry, Chris Bingham, Joe Varde. Tony Stewart will NOT run the race.

The Ganassi cars probably have to be favored again and have won it the last couple of years.

Why does the media need to give more then 1 days coverage of the awful shooting?

I feel like it causes more violence when the media builds up these shootings and covers the profile of the shooter. Shouldn't the media end coverage of the CT Shooting after today? Shouldn't there be petitions asking the media not to detail the shooter or his background. I feel like there is too much coverage of these often and tomorrow the news should move on to other stories.

Answer
American media loves sensationalism. They will cover this for days - but of course with advertising thrown in. So while we are watching reporter after reporter recount the story or interview every Tom, Dick, and Harry, they will be trying to convince us to buy a new mattress, car, insurance, or "Happy Season" gift.

The media is a big cause of a lot of the issues in America with their bias, inaccuracies, sensationalism, phony value system, and over-dramatization. American news reporting is one of the worst on the planet. Inaccurate, doctored, much news skipped, very little international news, biased to suit their political agenda, and tailored to sell advertising. Thank God for the internet.
