We are purchasing a car from Spain. The person has said to us that we pay the money to Yahoo finance and then when we recieve the car Yahoo then send the money to the supplier, if we are not happy with the condition of the car then yahoo will send our money back and the car is returned. I am worried about it being a scam especially as the car is being sold very cheap. Does Yahoo Finance provide this service?

It's a SCAM. Yahoo Finance reports on Financial news, stock markets, etc. They do NOT handle money. There is NO car, just a picture of a car stolen off another website

There is absolutely NOTHING about payments, because Yahoo offers NO such service
And NEVER buy a car from Spain for any reason - read this. People in debt sell off their cars to naive foreigners all the time hoping they don't understand Spanish law. Read the big warning in red as this scam is becoming very common with 20% unemployment and rising debt in Spain http://www.idealspain.com/pages/information/buycar.asp
If you want to prove this is a scam, write back to say you just got a cheap Easyjet flight and are flying down, will pick up the car in person, pay cash, and take it home on the ferry. It will be interesting to see what sort of excuses they come up with why that isn't possible. A real seller would be happy to get cash in hand, a scammer has excuses like they are out of town, or the car is already crated at the shipper or some other excuse

i saw something about a flying car on yahoo news. it says that the flying car will be released to consumers, and that you can "fly or drive home by the end of the day". i dont get this. how can you just fly home? will there be traffic lights in the sky? can you just fly anyway you want, or will there be roads??? what about accidents?

I can't wait to see the first flying car crash because the idiot behind the stick was talking/texting on his/her cell phone. "Like... OMG... this flying car is so cool... I don't even have to put up with traffic anymore and the sky is so clear I can text and talk and... AHHHHHHHHH!" {splat}
