Hypothetically between these two cars which would you choose?

The Mercedes will have more luxury features and comfort but significantly less horsepower than the Infiniti G35. Styling is very similar, so that would depend on personal taste. Infiniti has much better reliability, although lower resale value. Maintenance costs will be higher for Mercedes, as well as insurance costs.

something under 30k, that looks really nice. i heard lotus is cheaper than it looks, but theyre in the upper 30k's.

If you want a sports car, you could get a BMW Z4. For that price, you could get at least a 2007 with low miles.

An Audi TT would be good too for a sporty look. You can get a 2008 or 2009 with extremely low miles for that price. I like them (:

And yes, a Lotus would be under $30,000. I like them but they're kind of hard to find. I also don't know how many miles you can get out of one... here's a listing on cars.com:

Or you could get a 2006-2008 Infiniti G35, which happen to be one of my favorite cars for the price. They come in different types, such as the base 4 door model, the Sports Coupe that looks very sporty and goes faster than the regular type, the Journey which has nicer features, and the X which has nicer features too.
